Day 1
Tavernier, FloridaCheck-in to the hotel throughout the day. If you enjoy snorkeling or scuba, nearby John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is the "Dive Capital of the World" and a National Marine Sanctuary. In the evening meet new friends during the Welcome Dinner and Get Together.

Dinner: Old Tavernier Restaurant

Menu Selection (based on 2008 trip):
- Salad +
- Seared Yellowfin Tuna – Served with wasabi, hoisin glaze, ginger, rice and vegetables.
- Petit Filet with Shrimp – Served with burgundy sauce & shrimp in garlic butter, served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
- Chicken Florentine – Pan seared breast of chicken topped with sautéed spinach, mushrooms and shallots, baked with mozzarella and toped with beurre blanc. Served with rice and vegetables.
- Pasta Primavera – Pasta served with a primavera sauce sautéed with mushrooms, tomatoes and scallions.
Day 2
(32 or 47 miles)Start your vacation from Tavernier and ride to Long Key (Marathon). Marathon is situated at the mid-point of the Florida Keys and is home to shopping, museums and a 65 acre protected area of historic sites, wild flowers and tropical trees. Dinner with the group.

- Baked Lasagna – Homemade with meat and cheese filling and tomato sauce.
- Baked stuffed shells – 3 macaroni shells filled with cheese and topped with mozzarella & tomato sauce.
- Eggplant Parmigiano – A vegetarian option with tomato sauce and 3 kinds of cheese served with spaghetti.
- Sausage and Peppers – Italian sausage and peppers in tomato sauce with a side of spaghetti.
Day 3

(40 miles)Ride from Long Key (Marathon) to Little Torch Key. Riding over 7-mile bridge, one of the greatest and most beautiful rides that you will always remember. Enter the Lower Keys and through Key Deer country. Smell the aroma of the Mangrove Forests. Visit the white sandy beaches. Breakfast and dinner with the group.

Day 4

(29 Miles)Gather your energy for the ride from Little Torch Key into Key West, where "Everything Old is New Again." Enjoy the sites and unique culture of the country's southern most location, visit the palm-lined streets and discover gingerbread mansion, tin-roofed conch houses and nationally acclaimed unique restaurants and pubs. Breakfast with the group.

Dinner: On your own
Day 5
(29 Miles)Start the journey home leaving from Key West and heading to Little Torch Key. Exploring and visiting the places that you missed the first time. Breakfast with the group.

Dinner: On your own
Day 6
(40 miles)Ride to Long Key, explore the Middle Keys before celebrating with your new friends during the final dinner. Breakfast and farewell dinner with the group.

Day 7
(32 miles)Ride to Key Largo to reach your vehicles for your trip home. Take a shower at the hotel before leaving Key Largo.
Breakfast: Lime Tree Bay Resort does not provide breakfast – Vacation Bicycling will be providing breakfast.
Please note all trip information is based on previous trips and/or contracted lodging and restaurants and is subject to change based on availability or specific trip needs.
Riding difficulty:
Riders who are comfortable riding 12 to 15 miles per hour should have a very enjoyable trip without any hills (the only "big hill" is Seven Mile Bridge). Strong riders can ride as fast as they wish.
Arriving:
Most riders bring their own bicycles by automobile. You can also fly into Miami's International Airport with shuttle service to the Florida Keys. Bicycles can also be shipped UPS or FedEx or as checked luggage.
Cost:
$975 ($200 due to reserve your spot and the remainder due 45 days before the trip start)

- Ride packets including maps and cue sheets (directions)
- Fully sagged including ride leaders, luggage transport, vehicle transportation and rider assistance.
